The first decentralized cryptographic-location network built for the world of tomorrow
The biggest limiting factor the world currently faces in advancing us into a more efficient technological future sits in direct proportion to our ability to trust location data. Current location technologies are too insufficient to move the world into the future. For solve this problem XYO Network is planing to create a trust-less, decentralized system of location oracles that is resistant to attack and produces the highest certainty possible when queried for available data. There system provides an entry point into a protocol of connected devices that provides high certainty on location data through a chain of cryptographic proofs.
The XYO Network makes it possible for smart contracts to access the real world by using the XYO Network’s ecosystem of devices to determine if an object is at a specific XY-coordinate. If it is, one can set up applications which execute transactions in the smart contract.
XYO has the infrastructure in place to build the world’s first decentralized location-verification system: starting with over 1 million Bluetooth & GPS devices used by people all around the world. This, together with our breakthroughs in crypto-location technology enables us to bring blockchain to the real world. The XYO Network is poised to do this on a massive and global scale.

The four primary components of XYO Nework.

  • Sentinels (The Data Gatherers) — Sentinels are location witnesses. They observe data heuristics and vouch for the certainty and accuracy of the heuristic by producing temporal ledgers.
  • Bridges (The Data Relayers) — Bridges are location data transcribers. They securely relay location ledgers from Sentinels to Archivists.
  • Archivists (The Data Storers) — Archivists store location information from Bridges in a decentralized form with the goal of having all historical ledgers stored.
  • Diviners (The Answer Aggregators) — Diviners are the most complex part of the XYO Network. The overall goal of a Diviner is to fetch the most accurate data for a query from the XYO Network and relay that data back to the issuer of that query.
